I found a gun
on the side of the road
today
with just
three
bullets left.
And I wondered where
the other three
were?
Were they sent out from
the hive?
Ambassadors of their kind
out to spread the good
word.
Or were they exiled?
For crimes against gunpowder
and blasted out
to be alone
forever; unloved, unsaved
and unaimed?
I found a gun
one the side of the road
today
but I don't remember what
the man looked like.
